Updated 20 October 2026

This policy explains what personal data Ad Account Shield collects, how we use it and the choices you have. For a short, plain summary, see How we handle your data.

Who we are

Ad Account Shield (adaccountshield.com) is an independent tool run by its founder, Ahmed, from Pakistan. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Meta. Contact: ahmed@adaccountshield.com.

What we collect

When you use the free checker

When you join the waitlist

When you email us

On your device

If you add your email in the checker, it is saved in your browser's local storage so you don't have to type it again. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies and we don't run analytics.

How we use it

We don't sell personal data, and we don't share it with advertisers or data brokers.

Who we share it with

We use these service providers to run Ad Account Shield. They process data on our behalf and only to provide their service:

These providers may process data in the United States and other countries. We may also disclose data if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the service.

How long we keep it

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict how we use it. To make a request, email ahmed@adaccountshield.com. We'll respond within 30 days. Step-by-step deletion instructions are on our data page. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Data from Meta

We plan to let you connect Meta ad accounts through Meta's official Marketing API. When that launches, we will request only the permissions needed for the features you use, use data received from Meta only to provide those features to you, never sell it, and delete it when you disconnect or ask us to. This policy will be updated with the details before that feature goes live.

Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Database access is restricted to our servers, and secret keys are kept out of our code. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will tell affected users if a breach puts them at risk.

Children

Ad Account Shield is a business tool for adults. It is not meant for anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll tell waitlist members by email.
