Questions

How long does Meta take to review an ad?

Most ads are reviewed within 24 hours, though some take longer. Editing an ad sends it back for review.

Can I appeal a rejected Meta ad?

Yes. If you think the decision is wrong, you can request another review in Meta Business Support Home (you may also see it called Account Quality). Don't delete the ad first, or you may lose that option. If the ad does break a policy, edit it to fix the problem instead; the edited ad is reviewed again.

Do rejected ads hurt my ad account?

They can. Severe or repeated policy violations can lead Meta to restrict an ad account, and editing or deleting a rejected ad does not remove the violation, so fix the cause rather than resubmitting the same ad over and over.

Does Meta review the landing page and the image too?

Yes. Meta's review can include the ad's text, images, video, targeting and landing page, so a clean caption can still be rejected because of the creative or the page it links to.
